1.3. Foreigners who come to Ukraine for the purpose of study enter NURE according to accredited educational programs (specialties). Enrollment of entrants from among foreigners to study at the expense of individuals and / or legal entities is carried out by NURE:
1) twice a year, before and at the beginning of academic semesters (but not later than November 1 and March 1, respectively), for bachelor"s and master"s degrees;
2) during the year for postgraduate and doctoral studies.
NURE calculates the points / grades of the entrant on the basis of the document on the previous level of education and sets the minimum required for entry the number of points / grades in general education subjects from which the entrance examination is conducted.
Enrollment of foreigners in the appropriate level of higher education is based on the results of entrance examinations in certain subjects and language of instruction and on the basis of academic rights to continue education, provided by the document on the level of education in the country of origin, and taking into account to continue studying at the next level of higher education in accordance with the legislation of the country that issued the document on the degree (level) of education.
1.4. All categories of foreigners entering the study are enrolled in KNURE on the basis of enrollment orders, which are formed in the Unified database.
1.5. The requirements of NURE regarding the compliance of entrants from among foreigners who came to Ukraine for study, the conditions of admission to the relevant levels of higher education, as well as the deadlines for applications and documents, entrance examinations, creative competitions and enrollment are specified in these Rules and published - the site of the institution of higher education.
1.6. Foreigners who receive state scholarships under international agreements, national programs, and other international obligations of Ukraine are admitted to study within the established quotas for foreigners on the basis of directions from the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
1.7. Foreigners arriving in Ukraine to participate in academic mobility programs or to obtain higher education in educational programs agreed between Ukrainian and foreign higher education institutions are admitted to study, taking into account the relevant contractual obligations of the relevant higher education institutions.
1.8. Foreign Ukrainians who are legally present in Ukraine and whose status is certified by a certificate of a foreign Ukrainian, upon joining NURE enjoy the same rights to education as citizens of Ukraine, except as provided by the Constitution of Ukraine, laws of Ukraine or international treaties, consent which are binding on the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
Foreign Ukrainians, whose status is certified by a certificate of a foreign Ukrainian, may be enrolled in state-ordered education within the established quotas for foreigners for an interview in the subjects provided for in these Rules.
1.9. Admission of foreign citizens and stateless persons is subject to the provision of the following documents: for admission, a foreigner personally submits an application to the selection committee in paper form.
For the next year it is planning to admit 250 foreign students to the Bachelor’ Degree and 300 newcomers to the Preparatory Department.
